Library Instruction

Faculty may request a classroom visit by Jonathan Lehtonen, the Instruction & Reference Specialist. Sessions can be as short or long as needed, and they include the following:

  • Instruction on finding resources for student assignments 
  • Content tailored to the individual needs of a class
  • Database search strategies

For Courses at Main Campus, Campbellsville, KY: Faculty may request a classroom visit by the Instruction Librarian.

For Courses Online or at Regional Education Centers/Sites: Synchronous online instruction is available for courses taught at Education Centers and Instructional Sites on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Eastern Time, and on Wednesdays between 11:00 am and 8:00 pm Eastern Time.

Jonathan Lehtonen is the Instruction & Reference Specialist at the Montgomery Library. He holds and MA in English from Pennsylvania State University and an EdM in Applied Linguistics from Teachers College, Columbia University. He previously taught English composition courses here at Campbellsville University. Prior to that, Jonathan taught English/ESL writing courses at Pennsylvania State University, the Community Language Program at Columbia University in New York, and Kean University.
